Additonal Telephony Server

Hi Guys,

Im trying to add 1 telephony server, i followed the Vicidial Multi-Server Cluster Manual, but my 2nd telephony is not working. i already added to servers under admin, and in conference i can see the IP of the new server. One question, should i carriers the will assign to my new IP? when i tried to setup my phone with the new IP, i can't connect to any calls even internal calls (extension to extension). I'm trying to dial other extension that are assign to other telephony server, my call will rejected due to extension not found, is that possible?

You would probably do better to use the Vicibox installation .iso which has clustering built in. Just an opinion, of course.

Each Dialer must have its own set of carriers. IE: Dialer1 cannot use a carrier assigned to Dialer2 or vice versa. So if you have one carrier, you must create a sep carrier for each dialer (3 dialers = 3 carrier entries, one for each dialer).

In Admin->System Settings:
Generate Cross-Server Phone Extensions - This option if set to 1 will generate dialplan entries for every phone on a multi-server system. Default is 0 for inactive.

Thanks for your help, i forgot to load the codec but its okay now. the only problem is, how to connect the extension from other telephony? i already set 1 the Generate Cross-Server Phone Extension, but still rejected my call, extension not found.
