Lead ID 0 Can't Locate Recording

Postby Nefariousparity » Thu Nov 19, 2015 4:28 pm

So we have a DID setup to forward to another DID.

I set the DID to Ext, And then in the EXT filed I did 915551112233

Works like a charm except I can't locate the recordings? It is turned on, I can see the traffic on the DID at the bottom, and the recording link at the bottom has data, but each call shows up as LEADID 0. And as far as the path for the recording it is not a link, Just looks something like this 20151119131028_1233865547_12696549231

But there is no recording?

There are two options here, ether recording is made but not processed or recording is not made at all.

File name is shown in recording link section until it is compressed, once compression is done, link to mp3 is generated and you can use it to reach the file.

You should check if original uncompressed file exists(it would be named 20151119131028_1233865547_12696549231) for this recording at /var/spool/asterisk/monitor or monitorDone folders.

if it does then compression process does not happen or work properly.

If no, then recording does not happen.

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) "This kind of problem" is a bad idea. State your precise problem. You have a link that fails? You have a lead that shows as lead_id=0?

Where? Since the lead table (vicidial_list) uses the lead_id field as a primary key, it's impossible to have more than one lead with the same lead_id. Thus I suspect you're seeing this in a specific interface. So when you say "I have ..." you mean "I see" on some screen.

The URL and some samples from the page plus an explanation of the call path that created the entry in question ... would be helpful.

And if you upgrade, it'll all get fixed. Just so ya know. (Well, it's very likely at any rate.)
