I have a client using a SIM gateway and wants to add another SIP gateway, so two telco providers on once box

Roughly what do l I need to do to allow both gateways to be used?

VERSION: 2.8-436a
BUILD: 140425-0906
Asterisk 1.8.23.0-vici
Suse 4.2.42(1)

Are the gateway can be connected through SIP? If yes, then you can just create two new SIP connection from Carriers with the details of your Gateway.

Then from there you can add dialplan it which calls will be routed to the Gateway you wanted to use. Cheers! :)

Thanks Darkeye08 - Just to check, how would I define the gateway being used in Carriers?

Hi, Once you created SIP details with dialplan in the Carriers you just need to Activate it. Then you can test call matching the dialplan you input.

I actually mean two routers, two different gateway internet providers. Any idea how to connect both to one vicibox?

You could try a load balancing router or a bonded routed / service.

Seems like the easiest solution for this was setting up static routes where it's directing traffic to either router based on the IP it's looking for (IP = SIP provider)

--article on adding static routes if you use go auto dial, vicidial is much the same--
