Just recently installed ViciBox Redux v.3.1.7 and can't connect to my xlite to test the carrier...

Asterisk 1.4.39.1-vici,

Code: Select all
 NOTICE[2643]: chan_sip.c:16835 handle_request_register: Registration from '"102"<sip:102@192.168.0.50>' failed for '192.168.0.13' - No matching peer found

any ideas?

It's like my local computer can't find the server or the xlite can't find it...

have you changed the server ip
if yes have you run the vicidial server ip change script

also check that in vicidial admin page the ip of the server and phones changed to your server ip

then in cli type sip show peers and check wether the extension 102 is there

this notice is not "can't find the server", but "can't find your credentials in the system" (no matching peer - peers are "phones" in the vicidial admin->phones gui).

So since it cannot find your matching peer, one of you is "wrong" about the name of the peer: what login/pwd did you use? Did you remember the cc in front of it?

No matching peer found

I had the same problem. I had to do a module reload in order for it to create the sip peer. now trying to figure out why it didnt do it automatically.
