Hello,

Would anyone have documentation on how to setup vtiger with vicibox install?

I have read and tried many attempts that I have found throughout the forum, but it seems that I cant get passed the database connection screen, as it says I don't have permissions, I don't even have permissions to create a database.

any help would be great.

thanks

Would you settle for SugarCRM? :) (ViciBox NOT Vicibox Redux, right?)

I would settle for SugarCRM if it works the same as vtiger.
I have Vicibox 1.0 ISO

Vicibox 1.0.0RC2 is a standard Ubuntu server (with root enabled, but otherwise pretty standard).

A standard "Install SugarCRM on Ubuntu" installation works very nicely. We charge $99 to install it, but if you want to try it, instructions are available via google. We've not had any "interference" between a functional Vicidial and adding SugarCRM so far.

But try to get instructions for YOUR version of Ubuntu if you can, and be aware that SugarCRM is constantly updating, so the installation screens may not be Exactly as shown in any online tutorial (so read before you click!) But it's not a difficult install for anyone who installs software on Ubuntu very often. Pretty simple, really.
