recording quality poor please help

Hello
our vicidial is running fine voice quality on manual as well as automatic mode is fine but we are faced with poor recoding issue
whenever i record a call either for one seat or for all calls get recorded but recording quality is very poor

#i am using new version of vicidial that is 2.0
#i am using ztdummy timer i am running my dialer only on 4 seate
#but i wish to increase it to more
#my linux distro is FC4
#calls are getting recorded in WAV form

please help me what may be the issue

in every recording there is some continious external distortion apart from voice of agents

What Linux kernel are you using?

What is your ztdummy timing source?

You can easily get an X100P card which will greatly help the accuracy of your timer.

i am not sure on the timing source of ZTDUMMY which you mentioned in your answer


and other thing i like to mention here is that the linus OS i am using i have not done kernel optimization in which you hav mentioned this step

we are going for the card you mentioned but as i am in INDIA these things are not availble here easily i will like to say that anyone can make us that card available in india we are ready PAY for it
