Matt, what we need to do to get the ViciDial to work with Asterisk 1.6?

There are many bugs in Asterisk 1.6 related the the Manager API, and a lot of formatting that has changed, so all of that stuff would need to be sorted out. Also, keep in mind that support for Asterisk 1.6 will be suspended before support for 1.4 is suspended, Digium is not going to spend as much time fixing bugs on 1.6 because it will be abandoned after only one year beyond it's final release, as opposed to 1.4 that has 4 years of support scheduled. We will most likely work for 1.8 support next instead since Digium seems to be already writing off the 1.6 branch.
