Couple of basic questions ??

Postby ricky776 » Thu Sep 17, 2020 2:47 am

Hello
Sorry for a couple of basic questions
1, is there any simple way to import data from another dialer we seem to be able to get the data in just no scheduled call backs
2, Call recordings is there any way to automatically delete them after 30 days

Again sorry for the basic questions and thanks for your replies in advanced
:D

go to reports > admin tools > callback exports

check your crontab settings for recordings, it should be on 60 days now

that will give u a csv file u can use to create the callbacks from, if it the same cluster u can just use the bulk move feature

Sorry but I have just shown this to person who is setting up my system

This is his reply

There's no way to get a scheduled callback into the dialer via the front end. Only via the sql database can you map the call back time to the callback column on the vicidial_list table along with the status of Scheduled callback

Is this right

That is correct. The only way to move scheduled callbacks from one VICIdial system to another is through SQL. If you use the backup utility, this can actually be a pretty simple process, providing you have root access to both systems.
